Kerala Chapter ICS
The Kerala Chapter of Indian Chest Society was constituted as a state unit of Indian Chest Society and
registered on 25/8/2017 as per registration Number: EKM / TC / 604 / 2017 under the chairmanship of
Dr Ravindran Chetambath with Dr Rajesh V as secretary and Dr Paramez AR as treasurer. The aim of the
society is to implement various activities of the national body in the state. This includes conducting
continuing medical education for practicing chest specialists, conducting awareness programme for the
public, health care activities and medical camps at various places in the state. We also cater to
paramedics by providing trainings in various procedures like pulmonary function and endoscopy. Kerala
state chapter had the unique opportunity to organize the national conference- NAPCON 2019- in Kerala
in 2019. At present we have 136 members registered as life members in the Kerala state chapter.
